I have a friend who is 22 and since she was 14 has had complete left sided pain from neck to foot. The pain can be shooting and sometimes gently throbbing but always present. Both of her ankles also turn over very frequently. She has had many investigations, all inconclusive, and I was just wondering if this could be cerebral symptoms from MS? She has not had a brain or spinal scan with her investigations.

Your friend should get a referral to see a Neurologist who will be better placed to get specific tests done to evaluate whether or not this could be/is MS. She needs to be firm with the GP about this, no humming and hawing, no gas lighting - she needs to be checked out by a Neurologist.
Hi, I also think referral to a neuro is the way forward and hopefully, an MRI will provide answers.
