Hi All,
I have now had my Cladrabine delivered and start taking it tomorrow. I was due to travel by train for 1hr on Wednesday (day 3) and return later that day but am confused as to if this is now a good idea. Can anyone advise on how fast any potential side effects could start please and if travel at all is sensible please? I am scared as to what I have read online but thought I would ask here to gage opinion

Ok, hope this helps. I was told by my MS doctor ti treat it like lockdown. Remember those days? That was what I was told. I then had my following years mavenclad and I was told just be cautious. So from redoing lock down last year to just be careful. By that I took to avoid crowded areas where possible. Plus side it was 2 weeks of medicine and that’s you. One thing to watch out for, as I got it when I started my mavenvlad. You can get shingle like symptoms. Not that bad, dont do what I did and it was suffer that itch. I didn’t scratch myself but I was told by my nurse AFTER I went through that speak to your gp as they can give you something for it.
Now the good news about those chicken pox/shingle like symyoms. As fast as they came on for me they equally disappeared that fast once I had completed the second weeks dose.
