Hi, decided that myself and 4 year old daughter were going to the swimming pool yesterday. Beforehand, warnings of not going again if didn’t work out and her need to be as helpful as possible. I usually go to pool by myself and take my walker out to pool edge and the attendant then brings it out of way until I need it again. My daughter and I had such a brilliant time on so many fronts…fun,real sense of independence,educational,rewarding etc.Afterwards as my daughter successfully dressed herself she turned to me with a big grin and said ’ I managed all by myself.’ I was so proud, definitely a weekly event!
