breathing, dizziness when walking

Hi, rr here.

I’m mostly housebound due to difficulties with moving around and almost passing out. For a while walking makes me want to fall asleep but it has developed into almost passsing out territory, with very diffficult breathing, dizziness, my legs can go. It started a couple of years ago but has developed into most days that i can’t get beyond twenty meters or so without feeling extremely woozy. recent mri showed second bit of damge to pons…. echo came back as normal so die chest xrays. I have issues with high bp and elevated heart rates in these episodes. I’m just typing here as i dont seem to be getting nearer to answers and a plan for management, neuro rehab have ditched me as they dont know how to help. Cardiac Autonomic Dysfunction seems to tick all the boxes but i have 8 months until i see a neurologist again. Maybe folks here can offer insight? I was diagnosed in July last year.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Darren

I suffered severe dizziness and found myself having to locate something to hold onto quickly

Seemed to happen worse anywhere that had lines on floor ie shopping malls or supermarkets.

My Dr prescribed Prochlorperazine which as with most prescription drugs have many uses but I found them to work very well, can take up to 3 a day as needed .

Hope this helps

I just hope I spelled it correctly

My memory is now borderline after getting tested to see my progression, it’s the only thing I really worry about.

Some days it’s a struggle with the dizziness and legs being numb or knees sore etc

I hope you get your dizziness sorted though Darren
