Also have Chrones. Over the last 6 years my IBD nurse &MS nurse have blamed each other. After 2 colonoscopy, 8x laxido each day finally the IBD nurse seems to have proven it’s my MS. I have an appointment on wed3rd June. Has anyone else had similar issue it’s not easy leading a normal daily life round the Toilet.

@mazmiller111 Hi there, not an ideal situation to be in. I have Ulcerative Colitis and MS and although my bowels haven’t stopped working, they are so out of whack, another one here that has to rely on the laxido, and I seem to leap between pure liquid to major blocking followed by accidents. I have a similar situation where IBD team blame MS treatment and MS team think I’m not managed properly by IBD team, but in my case they won’t talk to each other.
No advice sorry, but I can sympathise, and can only hope one day there is more research into people like us that have to deal with this dual problem.

I seen my ms nurse today. My bowels not working because of MS. Now agreed . Persistine next try then if no success off to Newcastle. At least it’s been agreed.
