Hello everyone!

I am a 40 something yr old male. Diagnosed rrms in my early 20s.

I think many people like me have experienced overactive bladder issues. My GP has tried various alternatives including solifenacin (initially brilliant but over time side effects became insufferable) and i currently use Detrusitol to limited effect.

Someone suggested I try Pumpkin seed extract as a natural remedy. Again, this was initially brilliant but effect has decreased significantly over time.

Should I look to increase my dose (currently 2000mg capsule per day) or is there a suitable alternative?

Apparently Jude is worth trying although the cost is significant.

Overactive bladder is such a drag! Help please!

Not a natural remedy but I’ve found Mirabegron very effective. Changed to it when Solifenacin stopped working.

There was trial using pharmaceutical grade biotin a while back and although it failed its objectives, it did have the welcome effect of significantly improving my bladder control. Apparently, there are a few others that have noticed this benefit, but the evidence is only anecdotal.
