Good afternoon on this beautiful day, I have a spc and use a belly bag, how does anyone else who wears one keep them from smelling if this is at all possible.

I would wash them out every couple of days with warm soapy water to prevent them smelling. Replace every month.
Any ms folks wear them? Experiences, Tips appreciated please.
My bag routine with my spc is;
I changed from a 500ml day bag (leg bag, but I keep it in a fabric bag on my wheelchair arm), to a 200ml night bag and wash them out with hot water.
I have new ones every 3/4 days.
They do start to smell after that.
