When I get a bad cold now, my bladder seems to go on strike and I have to wear pads, at other times If I can get to the loo in time I am generally fine. Does this happen to others?

I don’t have bladder problems specifically, but it is common for MS symptoms - in whatever form they take - to flare up during a cold.

Last time I had a cold, which admitedly was a while ago, I really struggled to get to the loo in time - I thought it was my age (LOL).
But then again, I wasn’t having all the other MS type symptoms at the time either and wasn’t going through the diagnosis process.
Sometimes don’t get up in time in the night either to quite get to the bathroom in time!
