Has anyone else noticed the leaves turning golden already ?
Hubby says maybe due to dry weather but they really look autumnal…too soon !!!

leafs are on the ground here too since the weekend. doesn’t seem right.
meanwhile, 30C-ish forecast through the weekend. too much for me!

And I noticed this afternoon that suddenly there are a load of bits of dried leaf laying in the driveway, without really considering why they were there!

I said exactly the same thing to my husband yesterday, we have a horse chestnut tree in our garden , lots of leaves on the ground .
when I looked at the top of the tree the leaves are golden brown , is it me are are they falling early ?
No, not yet, shaddup!!!
The only reason I am looking forward to autumn is cos I am going on a 5 night cruise the day after my 64th birthday on 2nd October…we are sailing, we are sailing etc…

Today does feel like Autumn though. It keeps raining on & off, it’s colder and tomorrow’s going to get worse with 40+ mile an hour winds.
Next week we’ll be back to Summer though.
And would you mind not putting ruddy Rod Stewart songs in my head, Poll?
