Anyone remember the 'limbs falling off' joke?

Quite a while ago someone put a link to a very funny tongue in cheek joke about someone going to the doctor with a leg fallen off and the doctor said something like “come back when something else happens” then when his arm fell off the doctor said “you must be depressed” etc etc etc

If anyone knows where to find this I’d be grateful

Thanks,

Deb

Are you sure that was a joke, and not somebody’s real neuro?

It sounds about par for the course, with MS: “Go home and try to ignore it, but come back if anything else happens”.

I still don’t think the search is working. I’m sure someone posted about HMV vouchers, and that son/nephew/grandson wouldn’t get his Christmas present. I wanted to post an update, that it said on the news they’ll be honouring them.

Could I find it? No! Apparently there are NO posts containing the search string HMV. Either imagining things is yet another MS symptom, or the search is not working.

Tina

I don’t think the search goes beyond 2011 posts!

It was definitely a joke because the patient keeps going back to the doctor with another part of his bady fallen off and keeps getting sent away… my daughter came home from the docs in tears today because she’s been ill for so long and her thyroid is definitely stable now but they told her she has flu and to come back in a few weeks if she still needs to!! Who has flu for 2 years??? I was looking for that joke to cheer her up. I knew I should’ve gone with her, grrr.

How are you Tina?
