Another PIP question.

After finally getting PIP awarded to me my income is now above the £11,800 tax threshold per year.

Will I have to pay tax or is PIP non taxable ?

I`ve Googled it and it looks as though PIP is non taxable but I have also been told that I will have to pay tax.

Just seems a bit unfair that I now get extra financial help but could be penalised for it.

Scudger,

You can rest assured that PIP is tax free; it is stated on the gov.uk pages about the benefit.
