Another Mri today And letter update

HI all

I am going for another MRI today, this time for the full spine.

Also received a bit of a strange letter yesterday. This consultant does like to keep writing ( each time I go into a bit of a spin)

The letter said they are discussing my case at the neuro radiology meeting to see if I meet criteria for DIT and DIS.

To trace bloods for MOG and AqP4 and MRI spine result.

Then discuss at regional MS MDT if I am eligible for first line DMT

Her last letter 4 days ago said likely CIS

So as normal all a bit confusing.

It all does sound confusing. Have you a follow up date to try and bring everything together?

Hopefully all results including the latest findings of your spine MRI will be in.

The follow up date with this consultant is April 23.
Things are very confusing because I live on the border of derby and notts and leceister and my doctors and hospital cannot read each others notes and results etc.

Also I have seen two consultants both have different views.

April 23 :woman_facepalming:t2: and yet you have had letters discussing meds. No wonder you are stressed out.

Living on borders isn’t great, a bit similar to where I live, step out the door and I am in one county yet a few metres across the road and I’m in another. This means that I could access not only 2 hospitals but 3.

How have you ended up with various consultants? Have you been passed from pillar to post?

Is April 23 when you get your MRI results?

Not sure why the two consultants. I was surprised the first appointment that it was not the named consultant.

Hopefully i will receive the mri results in a few weeks.

Not sure then if they will bring the April 23 appointment forward. Not sure how they can talk about DMTs then not see me until April.
