Unlike Verona’s gorgeous looking healthy recipe, this is a little naughtier. Every so often I’ll buy a couple of rump steaks from my local farm shop as a treat so we can call it an occasional naughty treat. I fancied something different from steak and vegetables. The only tricky bit was slicing the meat. I had to lift up my lumbering left arm and use it to weight the meat down as I sliced it carefully with a very sharp knife. The vegetarian/vegan alternative uses field mushroom-much easier to slice.
