Hi everybody, need some advice.

Just received my Atos letter yesterday Friday 20th, to say that someone will call round next Friday (27th) morning to asses me for my claim for PIP.

I work part-time and that is one of my days. Do I phone to rearrange and tell them why or just take the day off so I can be here? I’ve had DLA for many years and the money helps me to run my car and so be able to work. I was never assessed when I claimed DLA. My job is 16 hours a week, working in a special needs school, not paid well but gives me a sense of purpose, near to home.

How fairly will they judge me. I’m so worried

Thanks in advance

Mel

My assessment was on one of the days I worked and as I didn’t want to rock the boat I took the day off. I don’t know how easy it is to reschedule but I will say my assessor was very fair and not nearly the ordeal I assumed it would be. I received standard care and standard mobility for 3 years which is up next year.

Not looking forward to having to go through it all again.

hi tabitha

i feel your pain.

my assessment is wednesday morning.

i was hoping to be asked to go to their office, daft but i feel my home will be sullied by them.

perhaps i can train my house to spit them back out?

i really don’t know where i’ll be if i lose my car.

it is ATOS coming to see me. i have heard awful things about them.

thinking of starting a rebellion, are you up for it?
