Now that Christmas and New Year have passed… I feel that I am coming out of the darknss into the light.
I have been keeping myself very busy. Which has kept my mind occupied and also been working a lot.
I have totally revamped my Front Room… totally amazed at the results… I stepped out of my comfort zone and have created a Feature Fireplace… which to honest… it looks stunning.
Im getting a ‘lady’ in to do my cleaning whilst Im at work.
And finally have been lucky in that I am going to Lanzarote with my family for a weeks holiday in a luxury villa with a heated swimming pool in May
Maybe its not all that bad - knowing that I am surviving and doing ok… and HE is living in a one bedroomed converted annex on a stinking dirty farm with the dog for company.

There have been lots of excellent reports of Lanzarote from folk on here. Seems the climate really good for us with MS.

Enjoy the holiday - you most definitely deserve it. Remember to send him a postcard of your lovely holiday though. Moving on from the other half feels so much better when the other half knows that you have moved on - and are better off!

So very pleased to hear that you have turned a corner, when you’re at your lowest it can seem very hard to believe it when people say it will become easier over time but you have proved this is the case.
I love Lanzarote best of all the Canaries, i love the stark landscape and it will be very pleasant in May.
