3 Months Today We’ll Be In September 💕

Hey y’all, been aaages since I last posted

So, the title…yes…just 3 months and summer will be over. But with the days being longer and the endless sunshine it’s probably going feel like about 6 yeas…I don’t even wanna talk about the recent heatwave :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

I’ve been proper smashing it at the gym, 3 times a week..moving up to heavier weights. I even did 20 mins on the cross trainer on Saturday..!

I recently tried to stop smoking (for the hundredth time) and have made the executive decision to stop after summer. This is no time for me to trying to stop shiz

I’m currently staying at my Dad’s (in Kidderminster for the week) and he’s been diagnosed with motor neurone disease (about 6 months ago) and he’s just getting worse and worse. He’s been accepted into a drug trial, I really super hope something good will come of it

I’ve tried to comfort him, as best I can, with my own medical trials and tribulations. I just feel so helpless

I’ve got M.S, ADHD and OCD (more letters after my name than a doctor)

Anyway, hope everyone is surviving the summer

Blimey - you certainly are smashing it at the gym! Pretty dam good!

It’s cooled down massively here in Scotland but just in case we do get more hot days I’ve ordered myself a neck fan . No idea if it’s going to make a big difference but at £15 it’s worth trying out.
Really sorry to hear about your Dad - that must be hard to deal with. My best wishes and sympathies to you on that.

I still remember my last cigarette- 40 years ago sitting with a drink in a pub garden and after several previous attempts I just thought ‘ right that’s my last one’, took my last drags and stubbed it out. One of the best decisions I ever made. As you probably know , smoking is definitely not good for MS folk so - just enjoy your last cigarette!
